Archaeological monitoring at Hawkhill Mire near Furzey Lodge of the restoration and infill of an eroded water channel near the location of a known prehistoric Boiling Site indicted by a concentration of burnt stone (flint) and a thick layer of charcoal-rich soil in the sides of the eroded channel, 2 August 2024.
